Biography

Originally from small-town Saskatchewan, Lindsay Harpham is a multidisciplinary artist, professional dancer, choreographer, educator, kinesiologist, and business owner working between Saskatchewan and Vancouver, B.C. Her career exists at the intersection of performance, movement science, and artistic development, with a focus on creating work and training environments that support both high-level artistry and long-term sustainability for dancers and athletes.

Since graduating from The Conteur Academy, Lindsay has performed and collaborated with companies including Larchaud Dance Project, Gadfly, ACE Dance Theatre, and Red Sky Performance. Her touring experiences throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia have deeply influenced her creative voice and expanded her perspective on movement, storytelling, and contemporary performance. Career highlights include performances connected to CINARS, the Australia Joint Dance Congress, collaborations with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival.

Alongside her performance career, Lindsay has built a parallel practice in kinesiology and dancer wellness. She holds a background in kinesiology, is a certified personal trainer, and specializes in training dancers and high-performance athletes with a focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation support, strength development, hypermobility management, and performance longevity. Her work bridges the gap between artistic excellence and evidence-based movement training, helping dancers build stronger, more resilient bodies without losing artistry or individuality.

Lindsay is the co-founder of wherewe Connect, a sleep-away dance camp and creative intensive designed for emerging artists seeking high-level training, mentorship, and meaningful artistic connection. Through teaching, adjudication, choreography, conditioning, and mentorship, she is passionate about creating spaces where dancers feel challenged, supported, and creatively inspired.

As a creator, Lindsay is drawn to work that feels emotionally honest, visually immersive, and deeply human. Her choreographic projects, including the dance films Synonymous Red, Bones, SHH, Behind Us, and Crisscross, and  reflect an ongoing interest in vulnerability, identity, femininity, and the relationship between physicality and emotion. Lindsay is currently an artist in residence at Remai Modern, where she is developing a new contemporary work titled The Shape We Stay In. Through immersive movement, visual atmosphere, and physical storytelling, the work examines the versions of ourselves we learn to live inside of and what it takes to reshape them.
